The pin tap is a special fishing tool making thread inside drill pipe and oil tube dropped in hole. The pin taps are made of high strength alloy steel forging materials and heat treated. It is made with chip groove so as to make threads. The box tap is a special external fishing tool which is engaged on the outside wall of tubing objects such as oil tube and drill pipe.
